Events important to Virginia history and culture happened throughout the state and even beyond the Commonwealth. This app helps you locate points of nearby historical interest so you can learn more about the area.

Map View: Take a look at the map to find events proximate to your location. Tap on a marker to read about that event in more detail.

List View: Read through a list of events ordered by their distance from your current location. You can see more information by tapping the bold event title. Tap "Map" to center the map on this point. Tap "Navigate To" to open the coordinates in your navigation app. Or tap "Learn More" to go to Encyclopedia Virginia and discover more context and background about that event.

Filter View: Use this screen to filter out content by a particular theme.
